HOW TO MAKE BROWN SUGAR?

Brown sugar is simply an unrefined (or partially refined) soft sugar with added molasses, and this is what makes the sugar look brown.
 
INGREDIENTS::

2 tablespoons molasses

1 cup white sugar

METHOD::
  • Combine molasses and white sugar.
  •  Mix well with a fork.
[DON'T KNOW WHAT IS MOLASSES??
molasses is  Thick, dark brown, syrup obtained from raw sugar during the refining process.

how molasses is made?
During the sugar making process, juice extracted from sugarcane or sugar beets is boiled down until the sugars crystallize and precipitate out. The syrup left over after crystallization is referred to as molasses. Typically, sugar cane juice undergoes three cycles of boiling and crystallization to extract as much sugar as possible. With each successive cycle, the left over molasses contains less sugar.]

NOW WHAT TO DO IF U DONT HAVE MOLASSES?

its not substitute but can go if u really need urgently & out of brown sugar.....

brown sugar is having moisture of molasses & brown color of molasses....

  •  honey + white sugar 
  •  mix it or blend it lightly.
  • again this is not substitute but we can use when its really urgent.
  • by this we give moisture & honey taste & color to sugar.

Another option::>>

  • Take one pan & add sugar in it.
  • Now caramalize sugar slightly
  • Ur brown sugar is ready.

CHICK PEAS COASTADAS



INGREDIENTS::
For mayonnaise spread::
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp green chutney

For stuffing::
1 tsp butter
2 tsp oil
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
2 green onion's white part finely chopped
salt to taste
1 finely chopped tomato
2 tsp chili sauce
1 tsp paprika sauce
1 tsp chili flakes
2 tsp oregano
1/2 cup tomato ketch up
2 tsp soya sauce
2 green onion's green part finely chopped
1 cup over night soaked & salted boiled chick peas ( kabuli chana)
2 tsp mayonnaise
water as per need

Other::
1 hot-dog bun
1 tsp butter
1 tsp cheese

To serve::
Tomato ketch up

METHOD::
  • Collect all ingredients.
  • Take one bowl & put mayonnaise in it.
  • Add green chutney.
  • Mix both ingredients well.
  • For stuffing heat butter in pan.
  • Add oil in it.
  • When butter will be melt add garlic & saute.
  • Add green onion's white part & saute.
  • When onion become transparent then add salt.
  • Add tomato& cook till it become soft.

  • Add tomato ketch up.

  • Add soya sauce.
  • Cook it.
  • Add green onion's green part.
  • Cook it.
  • Add salt if needed.
  • Add chick peas(kabuli chana).
  • Add water in it.& let it boil for 5-7 minutes.
  • Stuffing is ready.
  • Add mayonnaise in it.
  • Mix it well.
  • Heat pan and roast hot-dog bun in butter.
  • When roasted then apply mayonnaise spread.
  • Put stuffing.
  • Spread cheese on it.
  • close it with other part of bun.

  • Chick-peas coastadas is ready to serve with tomato ketch-up.




PITHI SAPTA

INGREDIENTS::


For batter::
1/2 cup plain flour(maida)
1/4 cup semolina flour(soji) 
1/4 cup rice flour
3 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom(ilaichi) powder
1 cup milk
water as per need


For stuffing::


1 cup dry coconut powder
1 tsp condensed milk
1 tsp almonds chopped
1/2 tsp raisins


Other::
Butter to roast pudla


Condense milk mixer::
2 tsp condense milk
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp dry fruits
1/2 tsp cardamom powder(ilaichi powder)


METHOD::
  • Add plain flour & rice flour in mixing bowl.
  • Add samolina flour.
  • Add sugar.
  • Add cardamom powder.
  • Add milk & make medium thick batter so you can spread.
  • Batter is ready.
  • For stuffing heat pan and dry coconut powder in it.
  • Add condense milk.
  • Add raisins.
  • Add almonds.
  • Roast it till mixture will be mix well.
  • Mixture is ready.let it come at room temperature.
  • Now heat pan and apply butter on it.
  • Spread Batter to make pan cake & only cook one side.(it will be cook fully if u cook on slow flame )
  • Take it in one plate.
  • Apply stuffing in middle.(2-3 tsp)
  • Now fold it from both side.
  • Arrange pancake in serving bowl.
  • Pour condense milk mixer on it.
  • Garnish with almonds.
  • Yummy sweet dish is ready to serve.
