MORAIYO FLOUR(SAMO RICE) DAHI WADA






INGREDIENTS:

For dahiwada batter::

100 grms 2 hour soaked & crushed moraiyo (samo rice)
50 grms  3 hour soaked in warm water & crushed peanuts
2-3 tsp singoda/singhada flour (in English it means water chestnut)
rock salt to taste
pinch soda bi carb
2 tsp ginger-chill paste
oil to fry
1/2 cup rock salted curd
2 tsp raw mango chutney
pinch roasted cumin seed powder
pinch red chili powder
1 tsp pomegranate seeds

For raw mango chutney::

1 raw mango
1 cup sugar
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp cumin seed powder
salt to taste

METHOD::


  •  To make raaw mango chutney mix all ingrediets and crush  it in mixture & chutney is ready.


  •  To make batter take moraiyo in one bowl.


  •  Now add peanut crush,singoda flour,soda bi carb,rock salt in it.


  •  Add ginger-chilli paste and mix all ingredients & add water as per need.(make it thick not pouring consistency even)

  •  fry vada in oil.


  •   fry  till it become golden brown.


  •  Now soak it in water for 15-20 minutes.

  •  Now take it from water.press it to remove water from vada.


  •  Now put vada in one bowl, pour curd on it.


  •  Pour chutney on it.


  •  Sprinkle red chili powder,cumin seed powder,raw salt on it.

  • Garnish with pomegranate seeds















  • Serve chilled.
